Anyone else watch this? I have to admit I haven't watched very often since they killed Charlie off, but I started watching again this season when they announced it was the last season for the show.

I thought the finale was pretty funny. Of course, it was all about whether or not Charlie was really still alive. Throughout the show there were many jokes ragging on the show itself as well as the character of Charlie Harper which were thinly disguised jokes about Charlie Sheen. There were cameo appearances by actors Arnold Schwarzenegger and Christian Slater as well as from the many actresses who played Charlies's girlfriends over the years and actresses who played Alan and Walden's ex-wives and girlfriends.

All in all, it was a pretty funny show with a wild twist at the end.

Anyone else have opinions?

This was my favorite show when Charlie Sheen was on, I wasn't too keen on the
addition of Ashton Kutcher. I tried to give it a chance but it just wasn't the
same. I still go back and listen to the old seasons. It's too bad He left the show.

I just read an article about how show producer, Chuck Lorre, wanted the ending of the show to go if Charlie Sheen had agreed to actually be on the show instead of it just being about him without him being there. It would have been even funnier if Charlie had agreed, but the big baby didn't like that most of the jokes on the show were making fun of his lifestyle.

thats to bad he did not want to be on the series finale of the show. It would have been nice if he appeared on the finale seeing that he was on the show for 9 seasons of it.

I didn't see it. I think I was out Karaokeing that night. I agree with others in that I liked the Charlie years best.

I got a bit tired of the Charlie years by the last year he was on. I didn'tlike Ashton as much at first, but he and John Crier gained more and more chemistry as the seasons went on, and I thought they were great together the last season. I thought the ending was appropriate for Charlie, both the character and the actor. Served him right for being such a jack ass.

I hated Alan the last 5 seasons more times than not. They made him utterly annoying and more than a spunge and just unlikable. I saw good things with Charley and Waldon, but like charley epps better if I go to watch some. I think the last eppisode was funny, but very immature. Most of it was Chuck Lore trying to show off that he's better than Charley Sheen didn't need him, and still hated him. Yes he didn't agree to be on the show, but one of the last things was visual. When the Piano fell on his head Chuck was sitting in a director's chair and saying it's good, acting all high and mighty. It sucked it was a bad time, but get over it it's been 4 years now. Just some thoughts from me.

I have to say that as annoying as they were, lines from Alan and Walden the past couple of seasons had me rolling around on the floor laughing. They were hilarious and meshed together well. Some really good laughs in the past few seasons, but ultimately I think we would all have to say that the Charlie years made for a better show.
